Touchdown!

HIIIIIIII I'M IN LONDON SUCKAAAAS. The Thomas Cook place was a bajillion times nicer than the wesjet one we took to Halifax. We got an AMAZING hot meal, I watched the Golden Compass, and the plane was so quiet and wonderful. Went along without a hitch. Weird because we have not slept for a full 24 hours and now it's only 10:30am. We will sleep like babies tonight! I decided to convert the rest of my money to pounds and so I went to this random money exchange place (okay, I already knew this was a bad idea when I did it) So I gave the lady like $70, and she gave me like 28 pounds back. CRAAAAAAAAAAP.

Carla and I have no sense of direction but we followed the masses to our train station, hopped on and navigated our way to Swiss Cottage. We got SUCH a nice place. Just heading out here in a minute to find a cell phone. The tube....was interesting. You see, when we got off the airport train, it was rush hour. We had all our bags and everyone was rushing around like crazy to get to their jobs. rush rush rush! I made Carla turn around because I saw a girl giving out free popcorn :D YES LUNCH! So that was pretty intense to say the least. We bought our oyster cards for the underground and we are staying in the Swiss Cottage area. I will post pictures of our hostel a bit later. It's CUTE as a button. It's old and pretty and the desk staff are pretty hilarious. They gave us a drink voucher for tonight, and I'm excited to see the giant bed that Carla and I get to spoon in tonight. Carla and I have been spooning each other on the floor for the last 5 days so this'll be no problem hahahahaha. I am so excited to make it downtown and get my first glimpse of the quintessential London town. More updates later :)
